During his brief attempt at a come-back, she sponsored Captain Perfect, and got him an invitation to join the Protectors. After Perfect was exposed as a corrupt fraud in the Ultimatron, she withdrew her sponsorship. Kerrigan was interviewed on Hero Hour about Perfect's fall from grace, and confirmed that the standing invtiation to the Protectors had also been retracted. (COMIC: Meanwhile, In Queens)
Kerrigan was interviewed on Hero Hour a second time when the New Protectors appeared, seeming to be a resurrected version of the original Mighty Protectors even though they'd been killed by the Cosmic Solution. She stated that “all questions [would] be answered in due time”. By this point, she had taken to wearing glasses. (COMIC: Epilogue to Destruction)
