Versions of the Big Bad Wolf existed in a number of realities, classically being a dangerous talking wolf or other wolf-like being. Most versions of Red Riding Hood had some tie to, or encounter with, a version of the Big Bad Wolf.

Description

Physical appearance

The Big Bad Wolf native to Reality Z-25 31-H had a human form of a clean-shaven, broad-shouldered man with short hair. By taking a certain pill, he transformed into a form similar to a wolfman or werewolf, with a wolf-like head but a hulking bipedal form. His fur was dark and irregular. (COMIC: Red Riding Hood)

Powers & abilities

The Reality Z-25 31-H Big Bad Wolf could switch between human and wolf form by means of a pill. In wolf form, he had the inhuman strength of a beast, but maintained his human intelligence and the power of speech. Indeed, he could have perfectly rational conversations even in his beastly form. (COMIC: Red Riding Hood)

Biography

In Reality Z-25 31-H

Reality Z-25 31-H's Big Bad Wolf, in human form, takes a pill to transform himself into a wolfman. (COMIC: Red Riding Hood)

Reality Z-25 31-H's incarnation of the Big Bad Wolf was a superspy active in 21st-century America, who could turn into wolf-form at will for purposes of physical combat. After he was tasked with stealing secret documents from rival spy Red Riding Hood, he instead fell in love with her and helped her to betray her superior, “Grandmother”. (COMIC: Red Riding Hood)

Becoming a pair of superheroes, the Big Bad Wolf and Red Riding Hood gained the trust of Captain Evening. They were among the heroes who could be summoned to the Fortress of Evening by the “Omega Protocol” on the Captain's computer. However, when the Protocol was activated by Professor Madison to recruit a team of heroes with whom to field an assault on the headquarters of the Bureau of Singularity, the Wolf and Red declined, deeming the mission foolhardy. (COMIC: Singularity War) The Wolf and Red Riding Hood were among the heroes Captain Evening invited to a big party at the Fortress of Evening, with the Wolf striking up a conversation with Professor Madison, complimenting her and the others' courage in going through with their crazy plan during the earlier affair. (COMIC: Meanwhile, On Earth)

Subsequently, they did respond to Robot Madison's call when she gathered all the superheroes she could to defend New York City from the alien robot known as the Cosmic Solution. They were part of the initial charge against the robot, though this charge proved counter-productive when the heroes realised the Solution grew in size with every impact it absorbed. After another superhero team, the Protectors, blindly hit it with such an overwhelming amount of power that it became too large to even be contained, let alone fought, by normal-sized heroes, the Wolf was kicked by one of the robots' gigantic kick, which did seem to daze him despite his inhuman resilience. In the end, the robot left Earth of its own accord when it was called off by another agent of the Cosmic Order. (COMIC: Journey Out Of Misery)

Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, in disguise, make it to their hotel room in Acapulco. (COMIC: Chasing Shadows)

Although Red Riding Hood had been injured, later being seen with her left leg in a cast, the two were still able to quickly return to New York after a brief vacation, in order to help Professor Madison (alongside many other superheroes) with the work of repairing the damage dealt to the city by the super-battle. (COMIC: Epilogue to Destruction) They then decided to make a romantic getaway to Acapulco, travelling in disguise in an effort to evade the spy organisation on which they'd gone rogue. The Wolf was convinced that the disguises he'd put together would be good enough, but, to his embarrassment, while waiting in line at the airport they were accosted by a messenger of Grandmother, who transmitted a message directly from Grandmother, explaining that their overseers knew full well where the Wolf and Red Riding Hood had gone, but that, in recognition of their good work rebuilding the city with Madison, they'd leave the two alone so long as they refrained from engaging in illegal activities. Despite this humbling interlude, they did make it to their hotel in Acapulco, and began their holiday on a high note when the Wolf confirmed to Red Riding Hood that he'd taken her advice and started using breath mints. (COMIC: Chasing Shadows)
