Elves existed in the Prime Universe, appearing to be a kind of Fae. Tero Trollgarsson initially believed that the Clockwork Cherubs Juliet-178 and Pythagoras-858 were Elves and that the Interdimensional Tavern to which they'd accidentally transported him was a “faerie-realm”. Adding to the confusion of the situation, there was an actual Elf of unknown origins in the Tavern when he said so.
