Orc

Orcs were a species of muscular humanoids.

In the Collapsed Cosmos, after an incident in a library where reality was unstable, Jenny Everywhere received a visit from her wizard friend Glendalf, who had brought a group of twelve Orcs with him — including Jegrekk Gnashtooth, J. Barrington Boartusk, Agrzaan Lurgpin, and Absoldar, who had formerly been “a hitman in the Orc mafia”. During the ensuing adventure, the Orcs performed a song about their species' ancient history for Jenny.

According to the song, they were created by an evil God they refused to name, but had risen up against him and succeeded in killing him; their core religious believer, thereafter, was that they would have to battle him once more in the afterlife, for which reason Orcs spent their life trying to become strong warriors. Some Orcs, albeit a majority, took up non-battle-related careers under the reasoning that other “strengths”, such as intelligence and creativity, might be useful in the unending battle, rather than sheer battle prowess.

Different Orcs than Glendalf's group were also present in the Red Lion Inn, as well as Elves, when Jenny and Glendalf later visited it as they fled from Faerie to escape the Wild Hunt. (PROSE: The Hermetic Garbage of Jenny Everywhere)
