Witch
Witches existed in some universes as a specific type of magic-user, a practitioner of witchcraft.
Nature
One version of Jenny Everywhere once claimed that she believed that witches were usually the good guys in fairy tales, a statement which dumbfounded one real witch. (PROSE: The Apocryphal Journeys of Jenny Everywhere)
One Emperor once used the words “witch” and “wizard” to refer to shifters such as Greta Överallt and Sven Allestädes, although this seemed to be informal. (COMIC: 24 Hour Comic 2019) One Jenny Everywhere denied being a witch. (PROSE: The Interlude of Jenny Everywhere)
History
In Reality Z-25 31-H
In Reality Z-25 31-H, witchcraft could be formally studied at New York University; Jesse Brain and her friends Alicia and Babs were witches. They studied spells with various purposes, divination, and the summoning of demons. (COMIC: Blast From The Past, For Whom The Toll Bells) Another notable witch from this reality was Captain Evening's old foe Hexia, who claimed to possess great “outworldly mystic powers”, including the ability to perform vanishing spells at short range (albeit with some difficulty). (COMIC: Season of the Witch) Taho, an enemy of Gwenna in the Naked Jungle, was also known as “the Sky Witch”. (COMIC: The Fury of the Sky Witch!)
In the Land of the Naked Emperor
One Emperor once used the words “witch” and “wizard” to refer to shifters such as Greta Överallt and Sven Allestädes, although this seemed to be informal. (COMIC: 24 Hour Comic 2019)
In Reality B-89 54-2
In Reality B-89 54-Z, there existed a number of witches including a legendary “Wicked Witch” known as Grandmother Ginger, and another witch who also lived near the Candy Forest, Old Mother Westwind. (PROSE: The Apocryphal Journeys of Jenny Everywhere)
In the Prime Universe
In the Prime Universe, “witches haggling over groceries” were among the strange sights which were oddly common in the Home City. (PROSE: The Interlude of Jenny Everywhere)
In Universe 925-B
In Universe 925-B, Jenny Over-There's abilities were actually a manifestation of her “infamous” witch ancestor Keziah Mason's powers, which had been heavily weakened over time. (PROSE: Annals of the Jen: One Year of Jenny Over-There: Interlude from 925-B)
In the Land of Oz
Many universes which housed versions of the Land of Oz were home to witches.
In Acquaintanceship's Oz
In the Oz of one Prime-adjacent universe, which was visited by Acquaintanceship-982, Glinda was known as the Good Witch. There was also a former Wicked Witch of the South, Blinkie. She once had innate magical powers, but they were taken from her by benevolent Ozites after they defeated. Later, after a Love Potion-aided change of heart, she was advised to petition Ozma to get them back so that she could become a benevolent magic-maker in Ozma's retinue. (PROSE: The Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids in Oz)
In the 925th Universe's Oz
In the 925th Universe's Land of Oz, the four Cardinal Witches played an important part in Ozite politics, and could also be simply referred to as “Cardinals”. At one point, Gayelette was the Northern Cardinal. (PROSE: Annals of the Jen: One Year of Jenny Over-There: Tetra-None Hepta-Oct and Doctor Know-It-All Talk it Out, etc.)
Other Oz-based references
When she appeared in the meeting place of the Secret League of the Orange-Bearded Gnomes, an accusatory King Roquat asked Jenny Everywhere whether she was a fairy or a witch. Jenny denied being either. (PROSE: The Interlude of Jenny Everywhere)

Alistair Neezley claimed to have once done a favour for the Witch of Walpurgisnacht. (PROSE: The Winter Quests)
