Odious was an Abstract, considered among the most dangerous and villainous. He was one of the few evil-doers regularly opposed by the crew of the Wilson who was not directly affiliated with Chaos. However, Odious sought to better himself at one point in his existence, even becoming a companion to a different Jenny Everywhere to the one who travelled aboard the Wilson.

Description

Physical appearance

Odious appeared as a tall man with hunched shoulders, with grayish-brown hair, wearing a simple jacket. He kept his face hidden by a crude wooden mask. During his meddling in Universe Juliet-Two-Two-Six he wore a black jacket with red lining, and his mask had no visible eyeholes, though it was emblazoned with an Abstract sigil similar to the Illumination's. (COMIC: The Jenny Everywhere Chronicles) Meanwhile ,the mask he wore during his travels with Jenny bore a more distinctive sigil, which was not simply painted but carved into the wood. Only blackness was seen behind the mask, however, save for two small glowing red eyes. On this occasion he wore a bluish-gray jacket over a black undershirt. Personality

Odious was motivated by a desire to find someplace in the Multiverse where he would belong. (GAME: The Jenny Everywhere Roleplaying Game)

Powers and abilities

Like other Abstracts, Odious was immortal and more or less invulnerable, and had the ability to shift across the Multiverse freely. As the Abstract of Misfortune, he could induce bad luck in those around him at will. He wore his mask because seeing his actual face would tend to stun mortals into unconsciousness. Biography

Opposing the Wilson's crew

In what was not his first meeting with the crew of the Wilson, Odious was once detected by the ship's alarm systems, apparently causing trouble in Universe Juliet-Two-Two-Six. With Michael Wherever and Stix both unavailable, Jenny Everywhere decided to go down to that world's Earth herself, accompanied by Amy and the Illumination, another Abstract with whom she had recently joined forces. (COMIC: The Jenny Everywhere Chronicles)

Companion of Jenny

At some point, a centuries-old Odious joined the multiversal travelling party of a different Jenny Everywhere, which also included a Michael Wherever and a Julie Jacobs, as well as the Chosen and Lol. While camping together in one universe, the group were abducted to a mysterious facility where they were made to compete and fight with yet another Jenny's team, which included another Abstract, Rae of Luminance. They eventually made it back to their camp, but never figured out who had set up the facility and why, nor the endless cycle of one team fighting another, each forced to teleport in a newer team to get a chance to go home. Other activities

Odious was among the groups and individuals who bid for the venom of the Wyrm of Loki when the Prime Universe's Sigyn decided to auction it off. Like the other bidders, he dissipated like smoke, sent back to the dimension he was being summoned from, after Tero Trollgarsson rendered the auction moot by drinking all the venom, leading Sigyn to interrupt the spell she was using to summon them all.
