Yog-Sothoth, once referred to by Jenny Nowhere as “goold old Yog”, was an eldritch horror who existed in some universes.
In the 925th Universe, a young Marietta Over-There was tricked by Nyarlathotep into performing a ritual which she was told would rouse Yog-Sothoth from his eternal slumber and, as a result, destroy the world. However, the ritual did no such thing, and indeed, as Marietta would later realise, it was Azathoth whose awakening was supposed to end the world, not Yog-Sothoth's, in the first place. In Universe, Yog-Sothoth was awake and seemingly benevolent, and an Outer God like Nyarlathotep, with the two being at odds. This Yog-Sothoth appeared as a telepathic being made of infinite crystal spheres and tentacles. He displayed the ability to block Jenny Over-There's powers if he desired. One incarnation of Jenny Nowhere knew of the Great Intelligence as an aspect of “good old Yog”, and identified the version of the Intelligence whom she encountered in the 89067986779811167562948736197891674912223184th Universe as such, with no argument or confusion from it in reply. This suggested the existence of a version of Yog-Sothoth in that reality from whom its version of the Great Intelligence was indeed splintered.
