Behind the scenes
Miskatonic University is a recurring, public-domain element of the Lovecraftian mythos — an institution of higher learning located in Arkham, named for the Miskatonic River. Though not typically a front for malevolence in itself, the University is often the backdrop to various weird happenings, and its library contains many occult texts.
It is unclear if Miskatonic School of Business should be understood as a subdivision of Miskatonic University (as, for example, Harvard Business School is to Harvard University) or if it is simply another institution also existing along, and named for, the Miskatonic River. Indeed, it is possible that within the 925th Universe, a Miskatonic School of Business exists instead of the conventional generalist Miskatonic University, in line with the Great Higher-Ups ostensibly existing in place of the Great Old Ones.
