Christmas was a winter celebration which existed in many universes. It happened in late December and involved the giving of presents. It spread out over at least two days: Christmas Eve, and then Christmas Day proper.

Nature

In worlds where he existed, the present-giving was handled by Santa Claus, though he was not essential to the process: (PROSE: The Time of the Toymaker) Christmas shopping for presents to give to one's loved ones was equally common. One version of Jenny Everywhere, for example, liked to do her shopping at Ms Amelia's shop every year for this purpose. (PROSE: The Winter Quests) One was also expected to send out Christmas cards. History

Jenny Everywhere was wont to organising large Christmas parties involving multiple versions of herself and their companions. (COMIC: Merry Christmas Everywhere)

The Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids learned of Christmas in 1986 via their Celestial Telescopes, understanding it to be considered “a time of love and sharing” by Earthlings. As such, they assumed it would be a favourable time to ply their trade unnoticed, what with people already being in the right frame of mind. The same year, however, the Gang of the Green Gorilla attempted to advance their agenda by highjacking the supermarket of the ordinary town of Vanityville and forcing holiday shoppers to buy nothing but green-gorilla merchandise. The encounter between these Gorillas and a group of Cupids led by Amadeo-378 let to the “Skirmish at the Vanityville Supermarket”. (PROSE: The Green Gorillas)

In December 2019, mischievous Cupid Larrikin-1029 travelled to the Euclidean Plane to bring the Geometrons his very own brand of Christmas cheer, and ended up piling up three Spheroids to create a “snow”man, as well as wrapping up a Tangular like a present and placing a Stelloid atop a tree. (COMIC: Geometrons' Holiday) In the Cupid Homeworld itself, the Cupids refused to celebrate Christmas themselves, for fear of causing a version of Santa Claus to come into existence in the Cupid Homeworld. (PROSE: Father Christmas, The Time of the Toymaker) To get around this, Celebration-665 instead organised a non-denominational “Festival of Giving” slated to cover the whole month of December 2019. His preparations included setting up a giant Advent Calendar on the Mainland Cloud. (PROSE: The Frost King's Treasure) A Cupid visited the Halfworld and discovered that the Szaclowk had their own version of the holiday. (COMIC: Szaclowk Christmas) Lord Nachtos visited the Cupid Homeworld for the first time. (PROSE: The Copper-Colored Cupids go Caroling)

However, in 2020, the Cupids were persuaded by some of the non-Clockwork Cherub inhabitants of the Homeworld, such as Lord Thymon and Sneernobiel, to alter this rule. It was ultimately agreed that the Crew would order toys directly from the Interdimensional Toymaker without going through Santa Claus. (PROSE: The Time of the Toymaker)

In 2021, CS-NA went on a quest across dimensions to try and learn the “Meaning of Christmas” so that he could organise the best possible Christmas party for the Crew. In parallel with this, Pythagoras-858 and Juliet-178 found themselves on an adventure involving Norse deities. (PROSE: The Winter Quests)

One one occasion, in one universe, at half past one in the morning on the night between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, a sleeping Professor Awesome was woken up by Jenny, who talked him into joining her on the roof. Quickly getting dressed in his day clothes — complete with labcoat and “essential gadgetry” including “both robo-spiders and the stochastic photon homogenizer” — he followed her to the said roof, where she explained that she wanted to watch “the flyover”. The Professor slowly realised that she meant “the bringer of presents… the lurker at chimneys… the eater of a billion cookies”; Jenny, appearing to treat him as incontrovertibly real, advised Eric not to say the name out loud, though she told him that she had borrowed an “Amulet of Unheeding” from Steve and Thoth just in case.

Before they could see anything, however, Jenny was hit in the face by a large snowball coming from nowhere in particular, and they were then knocked down by a sudden gust of wind. When they got up again, there were contrails suddenly criss-crossing the sky, as though hundreds of aircrafts — or just one, moving extremely fast — had passed over the city in the blink of an eye. Melodramatically angry, Jenny started waving a fist in the air and shouting up at the sky: “You just wait! I know who’s driving the fat man this year!” — but she got no reply, and Eric calmed her down by calling her attention to the two large, scarlet-wraped presents with their name on them that were suddenly lying on a parapet. (PROSE: Watch the Skies)

In the 925th Universe, Christmas was the occasion of many insincere manifestations such as generic romantic comedies and tacky advertising campaigns using the image of Santa Claus. Nevertheless, Jenny Over-There did not entirely hate the holiday. On Christmas 2022, she spent Christmas dinner at the Over-There family home with her parents, Mr and Mrs Over-There, reconciling with her cousin Marietta after ten years of feuding. Meanwhile, the Man in Grey journeyed to what may have been another reality to renew the Great Higher-Ups' deal with an eldritch “master” Santa Claus who controlled hundreds of “Santaforms” across the Multiverse, while Dynamite Thor and many other notable superpowered beings found themselves in an actual riot at the Dibbsy Store in America as they fought over Dibbsy collectibles such as the Dibbsy Toaster which Thor wanted to gift to his girlfriend Glenda.
