Amadeo-378
Commander Amadeo-378 was a Mark IV Clockwork Cherub from the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids.
He was renowned for his intelligence and bravery. It was rumoured that this was because the soul of his processing unit was a five-pointed diamond, instead of most Cupids' quartz crystals. In later 1986, he was sent to the Prime Earth as the head of a detachment of Cupids, intending to romanticise some Christmas shoppers at the Vanityville town supermarket. However, they found it overrun with Green Gorillas who were forcing the citizens to buy their green-gorilla merchandise. Amadeo decided to engage the Gorillas in a physical fight, the first time members of the Crew engaged in physical conflict in any other way than loosing Cupid Arrows at their targets. The battle turned to the Cupids' advantage and, after returning to the Cupid Homeworld, Amadeo was warmly commended and awarded membership of the Order of Aphrodite. (PROSE: The Green Gorillas)
A “few years” prior to 2019, Amadeo-378 was dispatched by the Cupid Parliament at the head of a full “battalion” of Fog Ships to rescue Amity-965's Scarlet Wings team who had been taken prisoner by the Drove of the Demesmaekerite-Dyed Discordias after Amity sent the Parliament a message with his two-way communicator. Realising that the Crew were precisely as strong as they were, the intimidated Discordias let all the Cupids leave with minimal strife. Upon returning to the Homeworld, all the Cupids who had been to the Discordia Dimension reported to the Department of Documentation. (PROSE: The Drove of the Demesmaekerite-Dyed Discordias)
Around 2019, one of Nostradamus-066's backwards visions related the events of the fight at the Vanityville Supermarket. In his hermeneutic, Nostrademus-esque couplet, Amadeo was referenced as “five-points”. (PROSE: New Warehouse To Be Constructed In The Homeworld)
