Brunhilda
From Jenny Everywhere Wiki
Revision as of 18:58, 23 June 2022 by Angela (talk | contribs)

In at least one universe, Brunhilda was a Valkyrie.

Description

Physical appearance

In at least one universe, Brunhilda had long black hair and green eyes. She otherwise looked very similar to her constant companion Gertrude. (COMIC: 2014 KAMeo Kaper) They habitually wore golden, bikini-like “armour” and matching winged helmets. (COMIC: Caper 2014 Bikini Babes)

Personality

Of herself and Gertrude, Brunhilda was the more sensible one, spending most of her time getting roped into reckless shenanigans by her partner. (COMIC: 2014 KAMeo Kaper)

In Gertrude and Brunhilda's world

In one universe, Brunhilda and Gertrude were a pair of disgraced Valkyries, left to wander the modern world. After losing all their belongings in a casino, they got a lucky break in the form of an invitation to Kokotomo Island. (COMIC: 2014 KAMeo Kaper)

There, the girls danced and partied with Armstrong Fatbuckle (COMIC: Tales To Behold Halloween Cameo Caper 2014) and also bumped into Jenny Everwhere and Centennia, who lightly teased them about their metal outfits being inappropriate for the weather — though a smirking Centennia also noted that she suspected they were “always hot”. (COMIC: Caper 2014 Bikini Babes) The Valkyries took off their “bikinis of armour” and lended them to Jenny and Centennia, who put them on for a laugh as they danced with Mr Montibar, (COMIC: Tales To Behold Halloween Cameo Caper 2014) while Brunhilda and Valkyrie changed into swimsuits apparently “borrowed” from other guests at the Island.

The two girls split up, with Brunhilda, in her vampire-themed gothic swimsuit, being seen hanging around on the beach with a group of other interdimensional visitors. (COMIC: 2014 KAMeo Kaper)

Behind the scenes

Brunhild, whose name has various alternative spellings, is the most prominent valkyrie of Norse lore, also famously featured in the works of Richard Wagner.

Keith Alan Morgan's version of Brunhilda and her (apocryphal) fellow Valkyrie Gertrude were recurring characters in The KAMics.
