One version of the Woggle-Bug was native to one reality's version of the Land of Oz, which was visited by Acquaintanceship-982. He was apparently part of the large group of Ozites who accompanied Ozma aboard Acquaintanceship-982's Fog Ship on a quest for the mysterious thieves who had stolen the Magic Belt, Great Book of Records and Magic Picture. After they turned out to be the Imps Olite, Udent and Ertinent, and were defeated thanks to Acquaintanceship's input, the Woggle-Bug cried “Three cheers for good old Acquaintanceship!” to supplement Ozma's official thanks.
