Tammy Shotwell was the half-Elf, half-Halfling deputy sheriff of the interdimensional city of Shelterville. The other half of the police force is Sheriff Hank. She once mentioned having very arrogant relatives.

When Shelterville was briefly transported to the Land of Oz, Deputy Shotwell was very busy with a number of problems in the town. Unable to spare any people to help Kaza and Jenny Anywhere, she brought them to the mechanic Jack who provided them a customized car. (COMIC: Situation on Earth-N)

Later, she guarded Baron Tarquin in the Shelterville jail for a little while until Greta sent him back to the Land of the Naked Emperor, transferring him into the custody of the new democratic government.
