A portal disguised as a kiddie pool was one of the gateways between New York City in Reality Z-25 31-H and the Nexus of Realities, from which the Bureau of Singularity operated.

Nature

It was disguised as a shallow kiddie-pool with a duck motif. However, diving into it, one would tumble through a vortex and then “fall” upwards back out of an identical kiddie pool located in the Nexus. It needed to be filled with water to actually function. (COMIC: Singularity War)

After Kelly caught up with an agent of the Bureau of Singularity just as he was about to escape throug the Pool, she rendered the Pool temporarily unusable by using her fire powers on it. She then phoned Professor Madison at the Fortress of Evening. Madison was quickly able to understand how the Pool worked and repair it. It was subsequently used by a motley crew of heroes including Madison herself, Kelly and Jenkins, Terry Tornado, Mysto the Space-Wizard and Rodney Rabbit to launch an attack on the Bureau's headquarters in the Nexus of Realities. They then returned the way they came after extracting written promise from the Director of Singularity never to interfere in Reality Z-25 31-H again. (COMIC: Singularity War)
