New Subcinctus

New Subcinctus was a city built by Vertolin and other survivors of the Consistency Imperium, in penance for the Imperium's errors, as a refuge for the many in the Multiverse who'd lost their homes to Rifts.

It was built on the location of the exploded Consistency Palatium and out of its scrap and wreckage. The city was under construction in December 2020, but a small nature dome had already been completed near its centre and a larger one, which would enclose the entire city, had been begun. Like the original city of the Vormerschuiving prior to the Rifts Crisis, New Subcinctus was made up principally of large towers, and there were many lifts. However, there were traction-powered instead of pneumatic. (PROSE: The Time of the Toymaker)
