In one universe, Mr James was a teacher, and Head of Maths at Levendale West Academy.
He once broke up a row between Jenny Bainbridge and Leelee Jones on one side, and Charlotte Mitchell's group of bullies on the other. Although he scolded Charlotte's girls for being mean, however, he also acted condescendingly to Jenny, criticising her choice of wearing goggles to class. (PROSE: The Genesis of Jenny Everywhere)
