“Mandragora's Machine” was a device built by Mandragora-257 for the Consistency Imperium, which accelerated the spread of Rifts across the Multiverse, acting as the heart of the Rifts Crisis. According to Doctor Sigma, it “must have been a marvel of dimensional engineering”. After Mandragora's plan went awry thanks to the efforts of a group of Clockwork Cherub, his machine exploded, taking most of the home base of the Imperium with it, and, seemingly, Mandragora himself.
