A Green Gorilla was one of the mutant animals kept prisoner in the basement of the Drove of the Database-Compiling Dromedaries' Research Laboratory 6 when Pessimist-242 was brought there. Not having given up on breaking out even after a lengthy captivity, the Green Gorilla always asked new arrivals if they had powers that could be used in an escape attempt. These hopes were finally fulfilled when Pessimist revealed that as a Clockwork Cherub, he had the ability to hack the electronic locking system of the cells. The Gorilla played an instrumental part in the ensuing breakout, notably using his great physical strength to pry open a ceiling hatchway to allow the escapees to leave the building.
