Doppleganger

In one universe, a mysterious planet codenamed “Doppleganger” drifted the Solar System from the depths of outer space during World War II. To the surprise of the scientific community, it had oceans and continents whose shapes greatly resembled the Earth's, hence the name. A space mission was jointly organised by the Soviet Union and the United States of America to carry out reconnaissance work on Doppleganger and ascertain whether it was home to any intelligent life-forms. On the mission were Octobriana, Jenny Everywhere and Miss Victory, and Neeta (herself an alien) served as a technician on the ground. (PROSE: The New Mission)
