Dimensional travellers could leave behind dimensional trails that a shifter like Jenny Everywhere could follow back to the universe and location they'd come from.
One incarnation of Jenny used this ability to track down the Brotherhood of Multiversal Oneness's Chernobyl facility in Dimension 672 after examining the body of the Brotherhood assassin who had attacked the Man With No Name in Dimension 331. (PROSE: The Legend of Jenny Everywhere)
