In the Collapsed Cosmos, the cashier of the convenience store nearest to Jenny Everywhere's apartment was a surprisingly unflappable man.
He was familiar with a balding man who once visited the store at the same time as Jenny, and temporarily turned into some kind of demonic being in a fit of anger before changing back; he knew that the man had recently come out of a halfway house and promised Jenny he's speak to his case-worker. When a Grigori, who had detected the anomalous event, entered the store, the cashier assured it that everything was under control and recounted the event, “only stumbling a little”.
