Balding man (The Hermetic Garbage of Jenny Everywhere)

In the Collapsed Cosmos, a balding man, middle-aged and wearing “a ratty jacket”, once found himself ahead of Jenny Everywhere at the convenience store.

When he was faced with the trivial inconvenience of not having any cash on him at checkout, his anger began to transform him into a demon chanting something about “Blood and souls”, with spikes of bone jutting out of his back; but this subsided as soon as it had come as he calmed himself. The cashier was unperturbed by the incident; he apparently knew the man, informing Jenny that he had only recently been released from a halfway house and that he would have a word with the man's case worker about his continued instability.
