In one reality, Poison Ivy was imprisoned in the local version of Arkham Asylum until the apparently-corrupt heads of the Asylum allowed her to be transferred to a private Arc Mechanics laboratory to serve as a test subject for a new device for interrogating and studying “metahumans” like her.
