Allac-Ur

Allac-Ur was a Wellsian holiday, equivalent to Christmas. It involved gathering around a tall stalk of Red Weed singing “ancient songs of Wellsia”, and the sharing of presents. The soul of the celebration happened when the Red Weed hit “peak bioluminescence”. (PROSE: The Time of the Toymaker, The Frost King's Treasure) The ringing of a bell of a particular size and sound was also involved. Allac-Ur was the Wellsians' most important holiday, and the only one Karshassinwellshkhan III had allowed them to celebrate in the last years of the original Wellsian Empire.
