In Reality Z-25 31-H, the Bleeding Rose was a nightclub in the Old Harbor District in Angel Falls. It was owned and operated by the vampire Marcus, and catered to other vampires, but kept on the right side of the authorities, strictly forbidding killing; a human guests only gave a quarter of their blood at most, and willingly.
The Symbiote-possessed Kate Five found herself drawn to the Bleeding Rose when she first arrived in Angel Falls, sensing that it was home to hunters and prey. However, Marcus sensed that she was dangerous and, taking her aside, banished her out of the club using his powers before alerting the Guardians to her location. Shortly after Kate's rampage in Angel Falls, she was smuggled out of containment by an unknown party (secretly her twin sister Kimmy). After a few weeks of no news surfacing (as Kate was being held captive and studied by her sister), Nexus Girl and Battle Angel returned to Angel Falls, visiting the Bleeding Rose in the hope of picking up her trail after she'd disappeared once again. Spotting them instantly among his patrons, Marcus had Lori tell Battle Angel to speak with him. Meanwhile, the Eros-bonded Nexi, who was unfamiliar with such a seedy environment, was persuaded by two women to join them in a sexual encounter, later being embarrassed at how easily she had been convinced to do so. At any rate, though Marcus initially tried to convince Battle Angel that Kate was a lost cause, he was impressed with Battle Angel's insistence that her friend was still good deep down and merely driven to evil acts by the Symbiote's influence.
