The Cohort of the Clockmaking Capybara was one of the Strangely-Colored Secret Societies of the Prime Universe.
Their members were genetically-engineered, sentient capybara with an affinity for clockwork. One Clockmaking Capybara was among the inmates at the Drove of the Database-Compiling Dromedaries's Research Laboratory 6 in the Prime Universe by the time they captured Pessimist-242 of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids. After scanning Pessimist, Darius got the Capybara to create a cheap duplicate of him to send back to the Cupid Homeworld to cover up Pessimist's disappearance. Despite this cooperation with its captors, the Capybara later took part in the mass escape staged by Pessimist, helping to hold Darius down to allow Pessimist to use a Cupid Arrow on him.
