Amadeo-378
Commander Amadeo-378 was a Mark IV Clockwork Cherub from the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids.
He was renowned for his intelligence and bravery. It was rumoured that this was because the soul of his processing unit was a diamond, instead of most Cupids' quartz crystals. In later 1986, he was sent to the Prime Earth as the head of a detachment of Cupids, intending to romanticise some Christmas shoppers at the Vanityville town supermarket. However, they found it overrun with Green Gorillas who were forcing the citizens to buy their green-gorilla merchandise. Amadeo decided to engage the Gorillas in a physical fight, the first time members of the Crew engaged in physical conflict in any other way than loosing Cupid Arrows at their targets. The battle turned to the Cupids' advantage and, after returning to the Cupid Homeworld, Amadeo was warmly commended and awarded membership of the Order of Aphrodite. (PROSE: The Green Gorillas)
