Christmas was a winter celebration which existed in many universes. It happened in late December and involved the giving of presents.
In worlds where he existed, this was handled by Santa Claus, though he was not essential to the process: (PROSE: The Time of the Toymaker) Christmas shopping for presents to give to one's loved ones was equally common. One version of Jenny Everywhere, for example, liked to do her shopping at Ms Amelia's shop every year for this purpose. (PROSE: The Winter Quests) One was also expected to send out Christmas cards. The Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids learned of Christmas in 1986 via their Celestial Telescopes, understanding it to be considered “a time of love and sharing” by Earthlings. As such, they assumed it would be a favourable time to ply their trade unnoticed, what with people already being in the right frame of mind. The same year, however, the Gang of the Green Gorilla attempted to advance their agenda by highjacking the supermarket of the ordinary town of Vanityville and forcing holiday shoppers to buy nothing but green-gorilla merchandise.
