Professor Nowitall

Professor Nowitall was a lecturer in the Land of Oz who created Professor Wogglebug.

In the 925th Universe's Land of Oz, this individual was actually none other than Doctor Know-It-All, whose name was frequently misspelled on Oz-related paperwork due to a clerical error which had still not been completely corrected a century after the Doctor's initial period of employment at the Royal College of Oz. Behind the scenes

Although primarily a version of the open-source character Doctor Know, Callum Phillpott's Doctor Know-It-All is also conflated with the preexisting public-domain Oz character of Professor Nowitall, responsible for the enlargement of the Woggle-Bug. This was first implied in Good Crieff - The Tribulations of the Scottish Division when he mentions being acquainted with Ozma. Tetra-None Hepta-Oct and Doctor Know-It-All Talk it Out, the M.F.S. Scottish Division-centric vignette in the series' first anniversary story, expanded upon the reference, but, in the process, also made it clear that this version of the Wogglebug's creation did not match the narrative given in the original Oz book, where the enlargement of the Wogglebug was an instantaneous, partially-accidental procedure rather than the deliberate work of decades.
