The Mark IIIs were the third Mark of Clockwork Cherubs designed by the Creator, forming a middle ground between the taller Mark Is and shorter Mark IIs. They had more realistic skull shapes instead of the spherical heads of the two previous Marks.

Mandragora-257, in his original Clockwork Cherub body, was a Mark III, as was his assistant Digger-291. Both had shoulder-length hair, (PROSE: The Resurrection of the Wellsians) as did Pessimist-242. (COMIC: The Pessimist's Guide to the Small Screen, etc.) Digger had a brother, Diggy-292. (PROSE: The Metafictional Meddler) Other Mark IIIs included Magnification-236. (PROSE: The Cupid Suggestion Box)
