Plot
A passing Cupid sees Pessimist-242 sitting in front of a TV set on a small cloud, looking sullen as usual. When the Cupid points out to Pessimist that his TV set isn't actually plugged in, Pessimist replies that he knows full well, but doesn't think it's worth the effort because anything that may actually be on the air would be just as boring to him as sitting in front of the blank screen as he's already doing.
