Diggy-292
Diggy-292 was a Mark III Clockwork Cherub of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids.
He shared with his brother Digger-291 an inexplicable passion for digging holes, and, unlike Digger, had gone into a career which directly fed that obsession, as a Construction Cupid in the Department of Construction; he was typically among the Cupids who dug foundations for new warehouses whenever the monomaniacal Department began to build a new one.
In late 2019, on a quiet day off work, Diggy passed the time by playing a game with Juliet-178; the two raced to dig out rocks from the Cupid Homeworld's Celfoam cloud, being awarded fifteen points every time they found one. Their game was observed by a listless Pessimist-242 and Larrikin-1029, and interrupted by the unexpected appearance of Hector Fenwick's capsule. After Fenwick made too much of a nuisance of himself, Diggy and the other three made a joint decision to take him before the Cupid Parliament. (PROSE: The Metafictional Meddler)
