Around Halloween 2019, Méliès-125 of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids' Department of Cinematography was trying to shoot a horror film for the internal consumption of the Crew, The Cupid Who Hated Love. He initially wanted Pessimist-242 for the title role, and, after Pessimist declined, attempted “to make do with a puppet made to look like Pessimist”. Although the likeness was “rather poor”, Méliès “insisted that this only added to the horror; the other actors were thus forced to tolerate its presence”. (PROSE: The Ghosts and the Machine)
