In one universe, the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids was the subject of stories published on a website which, by happenstance, exactly corresponded to the real history of the version of the Crew primarily documented in other accounts. The burlap sack was considered a running gag in the series. Hector Fenwick once wrote a story for the series; after visiting the Cupid Homeworld in person, he wrote a new story which starred himself and described his experiences there. • This is evidently a close counterpart of the The Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids series as it exists in the real world.
• Aristide Twain, a co-creator of the series, does have an in-universe counterpart, but has not been linked to the in-universe Cupids series.
