The rift-wave adder-upper was a key component of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids' Rifts expert, Rosen-035's Dimensional Monocle. After it short-circuited due to exposure to a particularly large Rift, he had it repaired by Doctor Sigma. (PROSE: The Winter Quests)
