A retcon was a phenomenon which altered reality, sometimes inconsistently.

One version of Jenny Everywhere underwent a retcon alongside her occasional companions, Red Max and the Man With No Name. It altered their appearances in major ways, with Jenny and Max both ending up with different hair colour and default outfits, and Jenny's skin colour also changing.
