Recursion-462 was a Mark V Clockwork Cherub and the Prefect of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids' Department of Redundancy Departments.

On the day of the faceless magician incident, he had been participating in the Cupid Parliament's protracted debate on whose responsibility it was to refill the ink in Stenographer-123, opining “It’s obviously a job for the Department of Documentation, whom it is obviously a job for!”. When the argument briefly devolved into a fistfight, he was attacked by Technophile-963. However, the scuffle didn't last long before the onslaught of magic rabbits forced the Cupids to evacuate the Cupid Parliament building, with their destruction of the typewriter rendering the earlier fight moot anyway.
