(Redirected from Morgan Le Fey)

Morgan Le Fay, also Morgan Le Fey or simply Morgan of the Fae, was a Faerie lady of great magical power. In many universes, she had an ultimately-treacherous partnership with the wizard Merlin.

Biography

In the Collapsed Cosmos

In the Collapsed Cosmos, Morgan Le Fay retreated to the Red Lion Inn. When Jenny Everywhere and Glendalf entered the Inn, Morgan Le Fay was engaged in “an elaborate discussion about magic and transness” with Tiresias. (PROSE: The Hermetic Garbage of Jenny Everywhere)

Morgan of the Fae

In one universe, “Morgan of the Fae” was “a Lady of great skill and learning”. She and a young mage named Ambrosius entered a “mutually beneficial academic partnership” to trade magical knowledge, with Morgan bestowing upon him the “mage-name” of Merlin. The two even developed a romantic relationship. When Jenny Everywhere, who was familiar with this version of Merlin, heard about their relationship, she warned Merlin to be careful of Morgan, especially once he had finished teaching her everything he knew that she had previously not known. However, Merlin, blinded by love, refused to credit her warnings. (PROSE: The Interlude of Jenny Everywhere) Later in her personal timeline, Jenny mentioned Morgan to an even younger Ambrosius, reiterating her warning, although she knew the boy would not listen to her. (PROSE: Close Encounter of the Bird Kind)
