Hard-light

Hard-light, (PROSE: The Winter Quests) or hard light, (PROSE: Genesis of the Naveliser) was a technology which existed in several universes and somehow created tangible, physical holograms.

In one universe, an interrogation device developed by a human scientist in the 21st century was equipped with “hard light straps”. These straps were blue, and, although they appeared as solid objects which could hold the victim onto the “operating table” of the device, they could phase through their clothing. Pythagoras-858 and Juliet-178, two Clockwork Cherubs of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids, had access to hard-light human disguises in case they needed to pass inconspicuously in human society. (PROSE: The Winter Quests)
