Excavator-1642 was a Mark XVII Clockwork Cherub and a member of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids' Department of Construction.
As of April 29th, 2019, Excavator was the Department's newest member. When he went into a rage about the blueprints for a new warehouse having failed to arrive, Foreman-964 briefly, irrationally accused Excavator of having purloined them. The quivering younger Cupid instead suggested that they'd been “lost in the mail”, prompting Foreman to contact Philatel-426. (PROSE: Acquaintanceship-982 and the Missing Mail Mystery)
