Editor-345
Editor-345 was a Mark IV Clockwork Cherub and the original Prefect of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids's Department of Journalism, serving as editor-in-chief for The Cupid Courier.
He was a jolly, personable character, recalled by his former Philatel-426 as “the best boss [he] ever had”. He organised yearly parties in the Department of Journalism's building on Valentine's Day, personally addressing invitations to various Cupids in and out of the Department and seeing that they were delivered (though no Department of Postal Services yet existed). At one such party, later shown to Philatel by the Ghost of Christmas Past, he played the piano for a while before handing his seat over to Bach-076 and mingling with his guests, beginning by encouraging the young Philatel — who'd been sitting at his desk in a corner — to join the festivities, promising to introduce Philatel to a few friends of his. By 2019, however, the Department of Journalism was headed by Journalist-649. (PROSE: A Copper-Colored Christmas Carol)
