Doc-012 was a Mark I Clockwork Cherub of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids.
Description
Physical appearance
Doc-012 was a typical Mark I Clockwork Cherub, appearing as a comparatively tall, gangly android with small metal wings moulded in one piece. He had bushy silver eyebrows and hair, and wore small glasses. (COMIC: Why Doth Love Sting So?)
Biography
Doc-012 acted as physician to the other Clockwork Cherubs of the Crew. At some point younger Cupid visited his desk, which stood on a cloud “outdoors”, and explained that he was feeling weary and worn-down. Doc-012 simply told the younger Cupid to go home and take some time to “rewind” — specifying that he did mean literally rewind, and not just the human concept of unwinding. On April 19th, 2019, Doc-012 was one of the Cupids fruitlessly interviewed by the Blue Feather as possible suspects in the affair of the theft of a mailbag from the Cupid Post Office, simply because they had been glimpsed somewhere in the broad vicinity of the Post Office on that day. On Halloween 2019, Doc-012 attended Colonel-028's annual October gathering of Mark Is, taking it upon himself to set up an apple-bobbing tub. When the arrival of the Great Ghost's legion forced the Cupid Prime to hit the Emergency Transport Button, he was still holding onto the tub, and thus took it with him to the Interdimensional Tavern. He happily gave it to the staff, who happened to have run out of apples. After the crisis passed, they all returned to the Homeworld, where Colonel-028's party was ultimately a great success. On Christmas Eve 2019, Philatel-426 fretted that he may fall if he followed the Ghost of Christmas Past and added: “What a job that would be for Doc-012!”. (PROSE: A Copper-Colored Christmas Carol)
