In one universe, a certain demon dressed in all black and Jenny Cornelius were acquainted with each other through a mutual friend, though they both found the other’s presence awkward. He once tipped her off about a demonic incursion which was not the work of his people, having failed to reach the bookseller about it and reasoning that Jenny might be interested in getting involved on the grounds that “you're a busybody”. Doing so possibly saved the Earth, for which reason he was keen to keep his involvement confidential. (PROSE: Birds and Snakes)
