Mr Fell (The Folly of Men)
In one universe, Jenny Cornelius, who resided in 1960s London, was familiar with “a very special person in the book trade” whom she described as “very polite, handsome, well dressed, and gay as a tree full of monkeys”, going by the name of “Mr Fell” (PROSE: The Folly of Men) or Mister Fell. (PROSE: Dog Days of Sumer) His shop was located “on Greek Street just off Old Compton”. (PROSE: The Folly of Men) He was obviously an angel, having once guarded a place with a Flaming Sword, (PROSE: Dog Days of Sumer) meaning he fit the description of an incarnation Aziraphale. (PROSE: You've Been To Eden, I Perceive)
Biography
“Ages ago”, Mister Fell, who had been granted the use of a Flaming Sword to guard a place, participated in the smiting and defeat of the Hounds of Tindalos. He would later lose access to the Sword somehow. (PROSE: Dog Days of Sumer)
On one occasion, Mr Fell gave Jenny an exceedingly rare book, Biggles Goes to Mars, in exchange for her locating a copy of the Plasmanomicon for his personal collection. (PROSE: The Folly of Men)
His demon acquaintance later tried to get a hold of him to try and get him to investigate the Tenth Lord Grell, but had to ask their mutual friend Jenny instead after he turned out not to be at home that day. (PROSE: Birds and Snakes)
After an unwary archaeologist at the British Museum unleashed a surviving Hound of Tindalos, it sought out Mister Fell's shop. Retreating unseen, Fell tried to get a hold of Jenny Cornelius so she could help him with the beast; it followed him to the street where he finally ran into her, but Jenny was able to procure him with a “flaming sword” of sorts with which he quickly dispatched the creature, finding it surprisingly exhilarating to engage in divine violence again after so long. (PROSE: Dog Days of Sumer)
