Brownie

Brownies were a kind of Fae in at least some universes, belonging to the Little People and known for looking after other people's houses.

In Dimension 77, Brownies appeared as diminutive humanoids with skin the colour and texture of tree bark. Their heads were bald, but their forearms and feet were covered in fur. They were known for preferring gifts of food to monetary payment. One Scottish Brownie was once tasked with watching over the home of the Lurigadawne of Tipperary during his absence because of a debt incurred with the Lurigadawne by her “clan” some time prior. She answered the door when Jenny Everywhere visited, looking for the Lurigadawne. (PROSE: The Interlude of Jenny Everywhere)
