Ezri
Ezri was a human woman from a fantasy universe and one of Jenny Everywhere's flatmates at the Infinity Apartment. In her home universe, she was the Chosen One, Champion of Prophecy, something she felt quite awkward about.
Description
Physical appearance
Ezri was a woman with pale skin; she kept her hair in a gradient colour, black at the roots shifting into purple at the tips. She sometimes wore an outfit including a purple T-shirt with shot sleeves and a black skirt going down to her ankles, bothg arments adorned with glowing pink runes. Her most noticeable feature was a dark purple Rune inscribed on her right cheek, which marked her out as the Chosen One. It had a small degree of magical power, which she used to permanently change her hair colour from her natural blonde to the aforementioned black-purple gradient. On one occasion, for Thanksgiving, she changed the purple to orange, both in her hair and for the Rune itself. (COMIC: Infinity Apartment)
Personality
Ezri was eccentric and expansive in her day-to-day behaviour, but kept most details of her past and her private feelings secret from even her best friend, Jenny. (COMIC: Infinity Apartment)
Powers & abilities
As the Chosen One of her universe, Ezri was the only person prophesied to be able to defeat Minrath. When faced with Minrath's minions, a sword magically appeared in her hands. However, she had no particular skill at wielding it, making this ability limited in use. (COMIC: Infinity Apartment)
Biography
Ezri introduced herself to Jenny Everywhere one morning as her new flatmate, popping out of a trash bin in the nude and refusing to explain herself beyond that. This only compounded Jenny's shock as this was the very same morning she received another flatmate out of nowhere in the form of ShatterScreen. A short time later, Jenny decided to take her, Keith and Thuban to Club Jitsu, a ninja club.
When a call for help came from Ezri's home universe, which was beign overrun by the hordes of the Dark Lord Minrath, Ezri accompanied Jenny, ShatterScreen and Thuban there. The noblewomen who had summoned them revealed that the Rune on Ezri's cheek made her the Marked One, Chosen One and Champion of Prophecy, fated to defeat Minrath, and that it was her whose presence had been requested, not Jenny or ShatterScreen's.
As they were attacked by a group of P-Unda, Ezri was baffled to suddenly find a sword appearing in her hands. However, she did not know how to use it and was soon overwhelmed by the egg-like creatures. After some time trapped inside the swarm, she was freed by wandering knight Quinn. Together, they headed to Minrath's lair. Minrath recognised her as the Chosen One and a threat to him, and offered that they decide their contest through a game of Monopoly rather than anything more likely to result in the death of one of them.
Subsequently, Ezri and Quinn began dating, with Quinn revealing that he was a shapeshifter. Six months after their victory over Minrath, the two were living together at the Infinity Apartment. Jenny, who had left for these six months without explanation, returned to announce that she'd left to “find herself” and was coming back married, only to walk in on Ezri and Quinn kissing. After all due reunions and introductions, Ezri attempted to help Jenny announce her return and marriage to Thuban, although it took the distracted alien a while to register what she'd said.
A little while later, Ezri posed with Quinn, Jenny, ShatterScreen and Keith for a Thanksgiving picture. On this occasion, she had changed her hair and Rune's colour to orange. (COMIC: Infinity Apartment)
