Amuro Ray, one of Jenny Everywhere's companions during her travels in the Makara Isles in one universe, owned a Chocobo whistle which, to Jenny's mild surprise, turned out to also work on the similarly-named animals known as Locobos, even though Jenny had previously emphasised that the creatures were distinct from Chocobos. (PROSE: Jenny Everywhere's Twitter)
Behind the scenes
Chocobos are large land birds from the Final Fantasy series, used as mounts and pack animals. Final Fantasy XIV and Final Fantasy XV do indeed include whistles as an in-game mechanic to control them. Locobos evidently fulfill a similar role, but whether they otherwise resemble their copyrighted near-namesakes is unclear in the text of Jenny Everywhere's Twitter; Jenny's guess that “Amuro's Chocobo whistle works on any -ocobos” may be read as implying otherwise, as the joke seems to be that there is no other logical reason a Chocobo whistle should prima facie work on a Locobo, save that they have similar names.
