A male investor who sat on board of Arc Mechanics in one universe joined the CEO of Arc Mechanics in attending a demonstration of the Naveliser. While the latter denounced the interrogation device as cruel and unethical, the man obviously found the spectacle of Poison Ivy's torture enjoyable and seemed interested in developing the project further until the CEO overruled him. He later got his wish as the scientist who had developed it abducted the CEO and then arranged to blackmail her into backing the project. (PROSE: Genesis of the Naveliser)
