When Wednesday Addams entered the Eleventh Doctor's TARDIS, she had psychic visions of some his other selves, including an old man who was accompanied by a teenage girl. (PROSE: Wednesday and the Doctor)

Behind the scenes

This incarnation of the Doctor is the First Doctor, as played by William Hartnell. Although the original version of the First Doctor had many companions who could be described as “teenage girls”, his companion is presumably intended to be his original TV companion, his granddaughter Susan Foreman.
