The Supreme Quaestor of the Cupid Intelligence Institute was a Clockwork Cherub and one of the leaders of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids.

Description

Physical appearance

The Supreme Quaestor wore an extremely extravagant hat. (PROSE: The Winter Quests)

Personality

The Supreme Quaestor was a flamboyantly egotistical individual, who wore an extravagant hat, had as his home a luxury penthouse at the top of the Headquarters of his Institute, and generally acted superior. However, he was capable of taking good decisions, and Pythagoras-858 was willing to work with him or go on the assignments he sent him to. (PROSE: The Winter Quests) He was personally committed to the C.I.I.'s quest for “absolute knowledge”, and took umbrage at any suggestion that such an aim was not actually possible to achieve. Biography

Early life

The Supreme Quaestor disbanded the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids' Department of Paradoxes five years prior to Pythagoras-858's visit to Hilbert's, for “being too confusing”. (PROSE: The Grand Multiverse Hotel)

At some point, the Quaestor assigned five laboratories in the Cupid Homeworld to the use of the Department of Problem-Solving, including Lab 5. (PROSE: Lord Thymon and the Department of Problem-Solving) He disbanded the Department of Philosophy for questioning the conceptual soundness of “absolute knowledge”, leading to Valerius-1497 joining the Department of Problem-Solving. (PROSE: Magic Trick)

December 2021 affair

In late December 2021, the Supreme Quaestor called Pythagoras-858 to his office in the C.I.I. Headquarters to inform him that he was to meet the goddess Sigyn in Finland in the Prime Universe to discuss her granting ownership of something she was auctioning off (the venom of the Wyrm of Loki) to the Crew rather than one of its enemies. Uncharacteristically, he was brisk and business-like in giving Pythe and Juliet their mission details, simply glowering and handing them a written description of the mission.
